Michelle and Jacob tied the knot this past Saturday, September 24th, at the Lucas Estate in Carmel, IN. I was so excited for this Wedding because not only are Michelle and Jacob just the sweetest couple you have ever met (and we found out that we are practically neighbors and didn't eve know it!) but they come from two really awesome families as well! I talked with Michelle's mom for months leading up to the Wedding and it was always such a joy to chat with her about the Wedding and sort out the details together. It was also unseasonably hot that day and I suffered from a bit of heat stroke, not my most proud moment to say the least but my amazing second shooter, Teresa, stepped up and I was able to take some time to myself to recover and bounce back after dinner. Michelle and Jacob's family could not have been nicer about the whole situation so to them I say a big big THANK YOU! Gatorade is being added to the Wedding day checklist from now on :)
I loved all of Michelle's details, the navy and the blush looked so elegant together in the giant outdoor space at the Lucas Estate. Between the stringed lights brought in by Evans Audio Visual, the gorgeous florals by McNamara, the gorgeous cake by the always amazing Classic Cakes, or the insane amount of amazing seafood, including a raw oyster shucking station, crab claws, and sushi, it was a pretty amazing night to say the least. And my favorite part of their Wedding was Michelle's surprise to Jacob. She had all of the nicknames that he calls her written on signs and the bridal party walked them down the aisle during the processional, it was such a beautiful unique touch that was so meaningful!
