Alex and Lesley's Wedding
Rain Rain Go Away! It was a VERY rainy day in Indianapolis this past Saturday, April 30th, for Alex and Lesley's Wedding. We knew it was going to rain from the forecast a couple of days out so we quickly recalculated the day and rethought photos. We ended up deciding to do them all at the church and stay indoors. That is always a tough decision, especially as a photographer and lover of natural light. I always am so bummed when Wedding days are calling for rain all day (the hourly forecast literally said 100% ALL DAY). BUT, I gotta say, this is one of my favorite Weddings BECAUSE of the light. The church had tons of windows and we were so fortunate to have lots of time in the church to utilize the light and create such a beautiful story through the photos.
Tons of things went wrong throughout the day, but the rain ended up being the best thing! The mood was set for dreamy, airy, and romantic photos and I am absolutely in love with how they turned out. Lesley and Alex were troopers throughout the day and bended and flexed as things kept getting changed but they made my job easy and worth every minute with their laughs, sweet kisses and completely in love looks of adoration at each other all day.
So, without further ado, enjoy the sneak peek of Lesley and Alex's Wedding in Indianapolis, IN. A beautiful dreary day that no rain could bring down!
