Trip to Magnolia Market for Silobration 2017!

Hi there! I'm so excited you are here to experience a little piece of the magic of Magnolia Market and Silobration 2017 through the eye of my camera. It really is like Adult Disney Land!!

A little back story before we get started for those who may not know me personally (because you will see photos of us peppered throughout the post!) - I am a 29 year old Wedding Photographer based out of Indianapolis IN, and mama to 2 kiddos, a three year old and a one year old! This past summer, my husband, his brother and their dad all got together for a boys weekend and went to a Yankees Baseball game (I married into a HUGE Yankee loving family and it's fun to experience their love for the game with them!) So when the boys trip idea came up, us wives said "yes of course! IF WE GET TO GO TO WACO!" Muahhaha! And Silobration was the perfect time to come since we were coming all the way from Indianapolis, we knew we wanted plenty to do while we were visiting. So my sister in Law Chelsea, and my Mother in Law, Maria, booked the trip! We were so excited!

So, fast forward to the week of our trip, and as I was packing I had the horrible realization that I could only bring home what fit in my carry on?! NOOOO! So I packed a tiny pair of leggings and a T'shirt, some blush and toothbrush and called it a day, leaving plenty of space for Magnolia goodies ;) We set our alarms for 3am to catch our flight to Waco but to be honest, I was so excited the night before we left I couldn't sleep. With Camera in tow, we finally arrived in Waco by 10am, picked up our rental car and headed straight to you know where! The Silos and Silobarion!

Silobration is the Anniversary Party of the Silos Opening, and 2017 was the third annual Silobration with 99 vendors (all with AMAZING products, all Jojo approved!) and even more delicious food trucks than normal. Like I said before, adult Disneyland!!

Enjoy the photos below from our trip. I would like to add that we did a majority of our shopping on the first day of Silobration, which was a Thursday and waited no longer than 10 minutes for anything, including the bakery which can be quite a long wait some days. When we went back on Friday, we got there before the store opened at 8:45 and the line was insane to get in. We stayed for about an hour after opening on Friday and everything was so much more crowded than Thursday and the lines to check out were 45 min at least. So, we are very glad we went on Thursday for most of the shopping.

Myself and my sister-in-law Chelsea!

My mother and sister-in-law waiting in line for the bakery.

This Airstream food truck had all of the same goodies that the bakery had, just with a much smaller line!

There were two streets lined with amazing vendors, all selling beautiful products! We got lots of Christmas Shopping done!

We have a photo of us under this "Miles to Magnolia" sign, and we figured out we had traveled 1,116 miles. We also met people from Wisconsin, Alaska and Colorado.

Alabama Sweet Tea company was selling mason jars with $2 refills (and their tea is incredible!) With the Texas heat in the 90's while we were there, you bet we go good use of these!!

Ok, the gardens are incredible! On Friday morning we arrived at about 8:45am (15min before the store opened) and I snapped these in the golden morning light. So so pretty and beautifully maintained.

Thank you for stopping by and looking through these photos! I'd love to answer any questions so please feel free to leave a comment and/or share the post with friends! And I hope to see you all there Next year! (I can only hope to convince the boys to let us go back again! Lol)
